I'm in a tight spot.

I have a frame running, with a child.

The child is bound to a table.

The frame has menus, but not the child.

One of the menu items has an accelerator key F9.

I have chosen F9 as an accelerator key because the item does some programmatic saving process.

Unfortunately when F9 is pressed, the standard save process of the child is run instead.

What exactly is the explanation?

Is there a simple solution?

Is there a solution where I can keep the child exactly as it is?

Oystein,

The most obvious question is: what does the frame menu that was assigned F9 do?

Sorry, Don! False alarm! F9 works allright after all! I had done a change that made both kinds of save go wrong. I just discovered it first with F9, misinterpreted some other signs, and jumped to the wrong conclusion.
