We recently installed the Universal Driver 3.0.0.2 on our Novell Server. And ran for a week on the driver and then over the course of a night the network started to become slower. We have rebooted the server and re-installed the driver again and now receive the above message if the revparam exists (as it did last week). We are able to log in if the revparam file does not exist.

Without the RevParam it is possible that you are NOT using the UD. Kevin from Revelation provides the following troubleshooting tips. Try working through these.
Confirm that the Universal Driver is loaded as the client
-Confirm that the lh3srvc.nlm is running (load using the LH3START on the Netware Console)
-Confirm that the lh3srvc.ini file and the revparam file are properly set (look at the examples in the UniDriver documentation). Matching case is critical between the file contents and the files themselves
-Confirm that the REVPARAM file does not have an extension (use a dos editor to confirm Windows can lie about this)
-Confirm that you can ping the IP address of the Netware Server from a workstation
-Confirm that you can ping the Server by Name if not:
Check the host file and confirm the server is listed or
Change the servername in the revparam file to the IP address of the Server
-Put an lh3srvc.log file in the same directory where the lh3srvc.nlm resides, and stop and restart the .NLM (LH3STOP and LH3START)
-You can also try a lh3.log file where the application resides

Dave, I spoke with Bruce on the phone and may have taken care of the problem. We cleaned up the REVPARAM file as well as the .ini file. We also switched off the UD 3.0.0.2 driver and right back to it. Stopped and Started the Universal Driver on the server and he was able to access fine.
He is keeping an eye on the speed as the users log in. I suggested keeping track of when it is slowing down. It may just be high network traffic.
Hope it helps,
Kevin
