OpenInsight Tables - problems in Advanced Revelation (AREV Specific)

In the past I have been able to interface Advanced Revelation with OpenInsight tables as they both use the same format (LK & OV files). However, recently I have had a problem with a particular table that works OK in OpenInsight but causes fatal errors and frame format problems when read by Arev. The table has no indexing, no MFS and no dictionary associated with it. All other tables in the directory are read with no problem in Arev. Could it be that OpenInsight can work with longer record sizes? Or are there other differences between OI and Arev that I am unaware of?

Also files created under the Universal Drivers have incompatible frame headers with ARev.
Sprezzatura has an MFS that enforces the 64K record limit.

Why not just migrate to Arev32? As a lab exercise I grabbed an AREV application I hadnt touched for years - coprehensive HRIS package and ran it thru the migration Wizard. The only challange was remembering to take off some MFS audit security prior to import and re-applying post import. Within an hour I had a fully functional AREV32 system.

Solved! The problem was that OpenInsight *can* handle records ] 64k. So I wrote a routine in OI to split records in the table. Now I can read them via Arev then export the data.
