This is probably a simple question for the experienced but, I cannot figure out how to create and attach a new volume in OpenInsight. I want to create a new application and store it in a separate subdirectory. My previous experience in AREV was to use 'namevolume' at the Command window, and you were ready to go. I've looked through the OpenInsight manuals and didn't find the answer.

Could someone help out a new OpenInsight user?

In OI all application entities (programs, popups etc) are stored in the central repository i.e. a set of system files in the OINSIGHT directory. Therefore the concept of a seperate volume for each account does not occur in OI.

You can of course create datafiles in seperate volumes. Use Database Manager to do this or programatically using various SSP routines that are documented (usually!!) in Basic+ Help files.
