Does anyone know how I can obtain the date and time from the server so as to synchronise date and timestamping of transactions instead of using the local PC time and date which is frequently wrong?

I can't remember the exact syntx, but on NT networks there is a command similar to:

NET TIME \\SERVER_NAME /SET

For specifics, go to a DOS prompt and type NET TIME /?.
