Why can't one search for numbers in Web Discussion search? I'm talking about strings of pure digits. E.g I want to search for error numbers "FSnnn", and the system can handle that as long as they're written as one word. But people very often write them with a space - "FS nnn" - and then your only option is to search for "FS" and let your assistant sift through all the hits. (Can I have an assistant, please?) - A different example is "64K". You can only search on it as long as it's not spelled "64 K". - Other examples: Windows 95, Y2000, OI 3.1, and I'm sure you can come up with lots of others yourself.
So, how about it, RevSoft? Is disc space so precious at your Web server that you cannot afford to store numbers in the index?
