I've been sitting on installing the ARev NLM (1.1; ARev 3.03) because the instructions seem unclear and I'm not a Novell administrator be any stretch. Can someone supply concise instructions for instlling this on a Novell 3.11 server? Also, I have some users that are attaching to this network from another Novell server. Do I need to install the NLM on both systems?
Thank you.

Brent,
The NLM installation manual takes you through step by step installation procedures when you are using AREV starting on page 12.
Other than that you might call tech support at 800-262-4747

It's really pretty simple.
Log in as a supervisor and map a drive to the SYSTEM volume/directory. Go to then ARev directory and run AREV INSTALL Choose install/upgrade and follow the instructions When it asks for the SYSTEM location, enter in the mapped pathThat's about it, really. Load the TSR on the workstation and from the server console, just type LHSTART and you're ready to go.
It's really simple. The manual instructions are simple because it really is that simple.

If I want to do this in stages, is there any harm in having all of the workstations running the TSR before I get the NLM loaded?

Nope. Actually, if you use the ISTSR function, you can determine who is not using the TSR before you switch the network drivers.
