We worked without any problem using next environment - Novell 4.11, NLM 1.5 and workstations Win98 with Novell Clients for Windows 9x.

Then we upgraded one station to Win2000 Professional.

Now we can't connect to Arev Base from this station.

Our batch is :

v:

cd v:\arev2001

lhipxtsr /p and

arev user

And computer says:

1. (after lhipxtsr /p)

IPX not installed

2. (after arev user )

Unable to open boot media map.

We tried to use Novell Clients for Windows NT from 4.5 to 4.8 ver. with the same negative result.

Is anybody have a good idea?

Ensure that Novell Client is using IPX protocol, fix as prefered and ideally fix the frame type. Get rid of IP for a while on this workstation until you sort the problem.

It does work! Use client 4.8 Win2000/NT version.
