I'm in the process of moving my AREV app to OI. Sprinkled throughout the code are calls to MSG() and POP.UP(). Now, I understand that I need to change everything to Message_Box or something, but I can't believe there isn't some generic ArevMsg() and ArevPop.Up() routine in OI to do some crude (read quick) translations so the old stuff will at least run.

Could someone point me to it?

Messages are similar enough that Msg() now (3.6 or later) can handle Arev MSG calls. For more information, see New message features in OpenInsight 3.11, Extending Your Advanced Revelation Applications, Converting Advanced Revelation applications to OpenInsight: Perspectives from Developers, as well as the 3.6 release notes.

Popups on the other hand are much more complex. OpenInsight does not support all of the Arev features, such as F1, and the absence of CATALYST in OpenInsight makes other features hard to reproduce, since they are often based on the code/command feature. I know that some developers have done AREV_POPUP() functions in OpenInsight that accomplished for their applications what you are describing, but I don't have any sample code here.
