Hello,

I am in the process of moving an Arev 3.12/OI 3.7.3 system from a Novell 4.11 server to a NT 2000 server. I have copied the files, installed the NPP & NT service, set permissions, drive mappings, and it actually works, I can access Arev & OI from my NT 2000 pro workstation on the NT server. The problem is when I go into Database Manager for our application, it shows no files. The apps work though. When I RUN LIST_INDEX it displays in red all the files, and at the end are 3 files that show:

FS401: The "DICT.TABLE1" table has not been created or attached.

FS401: The "DICT.TABLE2" table has not been created or attached.

FS401: The "DICT.TABLE3" table has not been created or attached.

How do I fix this and get the Database Manager file tree to display again?

Thanks,

Ron Hollar

Solution!

I found that my environment settings were wrong, a leftover from the migration. They pointed to a non-existent drive. When I changed them from the Database Manager menu, (Database, Environment Settings) and set the Sort Path to one that was valid, the tree displayed again.
