When you make the deployment definition, click on the Tables tab. This will give you a listing off all the tables in the application that will be deployed. The data tables are defined as Deploy empty. Double click on the cell to get a listing of options.
The RDK will always place the tables in the DATA directory. You'll need to swap in a development engine and move the tables.
