I've just received the NLM 1.5 pack. Questions arise. I have one Novell 3.12 server with 20 workstations. Do I have to"INSTALL USERS" for each workstation? Not clear. I assume I INSTALL SERVER once (that was clear) and Lanpack user once, then TSR for each workstation and REVPARAM for each network directory with OV & LK files.

I see the /p option, but I want the opposite–no user should be able to open more than one session of AREV. Any ideas how to accomplish this? My workstations have DOS, Win 95 or Win 98 operating systems, but it's those windows stations that slip into a second session.

Install server once, install lanpack once, update every user to use tsr and mod Windows files per instructions.

To avoid multiple logins have a small script that writes the unique part of the sation id to a file and if it already exists log them out.

You only have to install the server/client files for the NLM product once, assuming you are going to be performing a default installation. Since all of the changes that are made to the system are actually made on the server (including the installation of the TSR), you don't need to do seperate installs on each workstation.

The RevParam file needs to be in all directories with Linear Hash data (.LK and .OV files).

As for the /P parameter on the TSR, this is needed when running the TSR under Win95/98/NT Operating Systems. DOS and Win3.x should not use the /P parameter.

Hope this clears up some questions.
