ASCII_XLIT_GENR - What is this? (AREV Specific)

I'm in a real bind. I am using the ASCII Bond function in AREV 3.1 on a Novell 4.11 network with WIN 95 workstations. As of last night, I can no longer run the processes that connect to an ASCII file using this functionality. They break immediately with the following error:
ASCII_XLIT_GENR Line 1 Variable has not been assigned a value. Zero used.
No source code is available. My systems are down. Any help will be much appreciated.

Asking the basic question, anything change? What does the code break on? Anything in the variable list that can shed some light?
