A bit of a problem here. I want to send vertical and horizontal sizing control codes to a HP6L printer. I know the codes. When I use the PRINT_TEXT routine, it literally prints the codes in ascii text, rather than letting the printer receive the control codes.

I worked around it by using the old "PRINTER ON", and then just using the "PRINT" statement. See, the help manual says that those commands are obsolete.

I am able to print barcodes great, I just was wondering if there is a way to send the control codes another way (to control the height and width of the barcode).

Richard,

Can AMcA's and CP's responses to this posting help you?

Richard,

That's a good excuse for not knowing it. I have no excuse because I use OIPI. I love OIPI. Still it can't compete with a holiday in costa Rica. (Sorry, Tony!)
