Record locking on win 2000/xp (AREV Specific)

We have an AREV 3.12 system working great until we put 2 new systems on (1, 2000; 1 XP) After fixing the video cards to support full screen, they run fine. BUT, no record locking for these two stations only. Thus we are enjoying *link list* errors.
Any idea how to get these stations to lock?
We are continuing to research. will post any findings other than serious grumbling

Laurie, do you have the Revelation NLM running on that Netware 3.12 server? I'm not having a locking problem with ARev 3.12, Netware 3.12, Revelation NLM and XP Pro workstations.

No, we bought the NLM but never had any reason to put it up. It's just been working really well for years. We added an XP station (of course, it was mine) and a 2000 station in January. All of a sudden, link list errors everywhere. We seriously cleaned up all nic cards, etc (25 users)to rule out equipment errors, and checked to make sure no key in the big file was screwed up.
Finally, checked record locking will all stations and the 2000 and xp station would not lock. We took these stations down and no link list error for a couple days, so that seems to be the issue.
We will be converting the entire AREV application to a custom D3 application this spring/summer. I can find a couple older win 98 systems to get me through this but I'd rather not.

It has always been my experience that in order to get record locking with Win9x, WinNT, etc that the NLM was required. This will also protect against GFE's, and should give you a noticable performance increase.
You should of course also be running Novell Client 32, and not the Microsoft Netware Client.
