I have a client who is running Arev 3.1, NLM 1.10, LHIPXTSR 1.12, with about 140 pc's Win 3.1 and 10 on Win95. Novell 4.11, client mix mostly VLM's. Freezing is occurring randomly (it seems) on both kind of workstations. Makes no difference if idle or working in application. There is no error message and the user can alt-tab to another application so the network connection is not lost.
Background processing is enabled, screen savers are disabled, files=200, the /p switch is used on lhipxtsr, Advanced Power Management is not enabled. What else is there to check?
This did not begin to happen until client tried to upgrade to NLM1.5 in the testing environment ONLY. The testing module is on a completely different server (same network however). No changes were made to the live setup. Client kept getting synchronization error when installing NLM1.5 even though all driver versions were checked. They went back to 1.10 in testing module. This should not be affecting live.
