If you highlight a form in the Application Manager that is not in the application, ie it is inhereted, and double click to launch the form designer,it advises the inheritance.

Close for form designer.

Access a valid form and launch form designer, it GPFs.

I have tried to reproduce your situation and have be unsuccessful to this point. Can you tell me what version of OI you are using? I have tried this test with OI3.5 and did not get the GPF.
