I have a large table that has a group format error. I was able to run the 'Fix Group Format Error' successfully, however when I try to run the Verify Linear Hash Table, I get the following error:

"ENG0703: LH_VERIFY_SUB, Line 2. Variable exceeds maximum length."

Has any one seen this error and know how to correct it?

4,194,304KB If I'm reading that right that's over 4 gigabytes.

Well that's spot on 4GB which is the maximum DOS file size with 16 bit OI so this may have something to do with it. Can you split the file or archive? Failing this there are more technical solutions we could try.

I am considering creating a new table and move some of the more current data into it. I'm sure that the group error occured in an area where some of the current data resides, but not all. After moving the data into the new table I can delete the old table and rename the new table to that of the old table. I assume this will work.
