I have an OI internet application running on a Windows 2000 server. It uses databases from an OI application I wrote and installed on a Novell server. When the customer runs the application through the local network (Novell) it runs fine. When they try to access information through the internet one of the tables they need is not available. After doing some checking i discovered that the table in question is giving me an * FS1026-Cache flush locked by Other * error. Any ideas on how to correct this. I've had everyone log out, shut down and restarted the windows server (haven't shut down the novell server yet), rebuilt indexes….should i just take a hammer to it and call it a day??? If you want to take a look it's www.autoexam.com. When you get to the part where you select a car model that is the file that's a problem. It uses the Make of the car to select a list of models to choose from.. but right now.. well, you'll see. Thanks in advance.

Okay, Tried adding a REVPARAM file with the following code.
Set CacheFlushLocks=False
There is no extension on the REVPARAM file and I added this to both the Windows 2000 server which is where my Dev copy of the web deployment pack is located as well as the Novell server which is where the databases are. There is still local access to that particular table through the workstations attached to the Novell server but the table will not open from the web.
I also tried adding a 'Flush' statement to the OI Inet files which call that Table.
Any other thoughts or suggestions on how to clear this error? Is there something i need to do after adding the REVPARAM file? Some type of reset? Restart the Servers? Restart all the workstations? Get a bigger hammer?

Now there's an idea. While I'm waiting for Revelation H (I said Revelation, not Preparation!) for my IBM PC-DOS 7.x or Caldera's DOS I can corner the sledge hammer market as certain entrepreneurs in San Francisco did during the California gold rush in the 1800's.

David,
Are you certain the REVPARAM file has been copied to the data folder itself and not just the folder where OINSIGHT.EXE resides? (You should have a REVPARAM file in every folder where linear hash files are stored.)
