Using Install Shield in OI (OpenInsight Specific)

If you want to learn it yourself then scan this website for "INSTALLSHIELD". I know that many people have posted InstallShield scripts to get you started. You really should be familiar with InstallShield before diving in.

Doing a fresh install is pretty much a snap, once you learn InstallShield. Having said that, I had an initial install script for OI working about 10 minutes after opening up the box. It's simply just putting files into a specified directory.
Doing an upgrade is tricky since you have to load the engine and pass in commands.
