I am curious where there may be a list of functions that are now

available with OI that were NOT available with AREV 2.12-3.12.

Some functions that I would be interested in seeing listed are in reference to interfacing more/better with the os,MS Office,Outlook, printing to any network printer and performance with 150+ users, etc.

It sounds like you want white papers rather than function descriptions. There are enough veterans in OI around here to answer any specific questions you might have. Can you post your questions with more detail?

OS: You can call any 16-bit Windows function from an OI app. They need to be "prototyped" first, but many of them already are. See SYSPROCS rows with names starting with DLL_, e.g, DLL_USER. For help on how to call dll functions from OI see BRFHELP.HLP (= online help from System Editor) - help article "DLL - calling functions from BASIC+" and onwards.

You may very well be right in reading a "white paper". Are there any available on-line ? I just recently started working at a company that is using AREV 2.12 & 3.12. We are doing some "indirect" interfacing with windows based products currently and I feel that we could do more and easier functions possibly with OI. The downside is the "time & cost" to revise and rewrite all of the code. Therefore I am gathering known "additions" and "subtractions" in going to OI.
