We have the following message when we run AREV

ALL NETWORK DRIVER 1.1.1.0

UNABLE TO ACCESS LINEAR HASH FILES

ERROR=FS1030

And then at the end of the error, in the prompt appears the following Message:

PEN BOOT MEDIA MAP

Our configuration is:

NOS.: Windows NT server with Service pack 3

Protocol: TCPIP

Clients: Windows 95 OSR2

Device for AREV is: 1.1.0.0

Please respond ASAP, we are in a Production Environment and we can not expend too much time with the system Down.

Thanks.

Roberth ,

       Try adding the "system" user to the arev directory and give the user full control. This should work for you.

I don't understand why people think that RTI's NPP is anything but a hindrence. I run several NT lans with DOS, Win3.1, Win95, Win95OSR2,

WinNT WS and have never used the NPP and have had NO complaints about speed, nor have I had broken indexes. My software, with no data in it and no source in the dict items, is ] 50MB, so it's not like I'm running a simple parts catalog. Plus, when I look at all the msgs about NPP, it just gives me the willies!
