Greetings!
I love windows.
I reinstalled WinXP the other day, and now (of course) OIPI does not work. I have followed the directions given here: http://www.revelation.com/knowledge.nsf/808942d225b936d2852566f500615f06/910fb6bec94f641d85257680006a8219?OpenDocument
to no avail.
I am not sure what folder to install in when the first question arises, tried the default, then tried the folder containing my Oinsight.exe
When i run the install, and get the first "completed OK" message, I look at the install log on the screen, and see some errors…
could not load c:\Windows\system32\mswinsck.ocx
output folder: C:\RevSoft|OIClient
copying from C:\revsoft\oinsight\revdotnetsetup.msi
copy failed
copy failed
copy failed
copying from C:\revSoft|oinsight\oipi\oipisetup4.8.msi
copying to C:\revsoft\oiclient\oipisetup.msi
copying required Windows dlls
copy to C:\windows\system32
copy failed
registereing olepro32.dll
oleaut32.dll
could not load C:\windows\system32\mswinsck.ocx
Can someone clue me in on how to untangle this mess?
So I can get a simple list statement to work?
I am wondering if I should also uninstall OIPI along with the
.Net stuff, and if so, how to re-install it.
Thoughts appreciated.
Have fun,
Paxton

Greetings.
I forgot to say, running 9.1.1 on single machine, my development machine
so all is here.
I tried cleaning everything out and re running clientsetup.exe, and now
it says it installes oipi but can't find the installer for the other components and the log does say can't copy the msi files.
What a mess. How to correct?
Thanks,
Have fun,
Paxton
