AREV 3.12 on WINDOWS 4.0 (AREV Specific)

When I press in a window with data in it, i don't get the normal warning but the following message on the lowest line of the DOS-box
Start of block is not defined. Press to continue0
If you replace the "0" by a "1" you leave the window.
The second is :
When starting PAINT you get the following message instead of the normal one :
Enter a recordname or press to abandon process0
Has anyone seen this before and hoz do I correct this?

The upgrade from AREV 2.03 to AREV 3.12 didn't work smoothly.
There is a problem with upgrading the accountrecords.
You should delete the account (application) and create a new one.
Then you do the rest and everything works fine.

It took me a while because the symptoms are different running Windows NT 4.0 in comparison to other environments.
