The creators of our system used images. I have done an update for the system which required the image to be reset;

I ensured everyone was off the system.

I did my update.

I attached and detached tables as required

I then checked all the tables

I then ran my setattach lis_image (o

Last I stopped and restarted the nlm.

All appeared to go well all my process machines came up and everybody

but 2 can logon.

2 profiles fail with the 119 image error at logon. I can use my username and password and logon fine. They appear to use the exact same arev image I use but they won't come up. What have I missed?

We'll need more details on the 119 error as images are not supported natively by AREV so this functionality must be supported by an add in. What is the exact text of the error?

Process goes through startup and just before username entry pops up:

119 Warning!

The logon process was unable to attach the tables normally attached by the LIS_IMAGE attach image.

Tables required by your application may not be available.  For more information, see your system administrator.  

Pressing F5 and then doing a LISTTables shows none of the tables for the image.  But I can user my logon and everything attaches fine.

I can not go to my system administrator for more information because unfortunately I am it. 

We apologise - those kind of images - the name brought it all back . Misread it first time.

Well…

You could try selecting all SYSTEM with @Id 'LIS_IMAGE' but the imagename SHOULD be LIS_IMAGE*ACCOUNTNAME.

They are all in the same account aren't they?

Look for

ACCOUNTNAME_IMAGE*ACCOUNT

USERNAME_IMAGE*ACCOUNT

LOGON_IMAGE*ACCOUNT

as these people could be using these - replace USERNAME with their name obviously!

I did the select * from system with @id 'IMAGE' and found nothing.

I did find 1 image LIS_IMAGE in sysprog under sysenv. I would love to

just delete the image and attach everything as I'm doing anyway for these 2 machines. But I suspect if I just delete lis_image the sytem

will be very unhappy with me. Is there a way do this, where in the logon process is it saying go find this image?

Well Attach Images saved a lot of time when machines were slow but nowadays less so.

So log into the application and

SELECT VOC WITH F1=TCL" AND WITH ALL "ATTACH"

then edit your way through looking for voc entries that attach the image and just attach the appropriate paths instead.

Bear in mind that there is a strong possibility that the VOC you start with at login (either on REVBOOT or in the application main directory) might not be the same VOC by the time login has completed so check both VOCs if applicable!

I fixed my problem by doing the setattach again. Everything is fine.
