Hi all

Have any of you out there experimented with or actually implemented having bang files with non-standard frame sizes. Is this acceptable or are we likely to run into serious problems.

Any suggestions gratefully received,

Regards,

Simon

We've successfully modified the node size in the past and achieved quite a significant performance improvement. Modifying the frame size seems strange as the nodes will stay at 1K.

Could you pass on any further info ?? Is it conceivable to use different node sizes for different indexes ??

So how much would you pay me to do it for you :o))

Only looking for some pointers - considering an MFS to amend the node size depending on the frame size rather than anything too deep !!
