We are experiencing a change in version 7.1. In the past the size of the dropdown list, on a combo box, was set by the size of the control. We use the dropdown event to call our own popup. By setting the size of the control to only the edit portion, we never saw the actual dropdown. This appears to no longer to be the case. This causes an odd visual, with the default dropdown flashing then our popup.

What we are looking for is a way to suppress the dropdown list from appearing when the dropdown button is pressed.

Any guidance is appreciated.
