Hello all:

I have a site running a single user, AREV 3.12 application. Their IS folks now want all apps loaded on their NT Server.

Question: Will they need to go full boat with the NT Service, or can they just use the NPP since they will be keeping the application as single user (i.e. no LAN Packs will be installed). The application gets fairly light use.

Thanks much,

Mike O.

We don't think that will be a problem. The NT Service and NLM aren't "required" until 5 or more users. That's when it starts to make a difference. You could always use it for the GFE protection at any user.
