Dots in program names will not be a problem. Dots in file names and dictionary fields will be.
Since ARev will swap dots with underscores, it should be a simple matter of parsing through the dicts and revmedia files swapping things out for OI. ARev will then handle the missing fields and you can make changes in your code as you come upon them.
