I am trying to convert from ARev to OI and have a

few questions. Any help would be appreciated.

1. Amounts displayed left aligned

  Price: 100.00

Although the dictionary item is right aligned the

data is displayed left aligned. How can it be

made right aligned. In tables there is no

problem.

2. In ARev it is possible is create many users

each with a different entry point in the system.

Ie they execute different menus when logging in.

How can this be done in OI?

3. What is the OI equivalent of PCPERFORM?

We want to execute DOS/Network commands such as

PKZIP and NET USE.

4. In ARev, F5 -] PC drops the user into DOS at

\arev. What is the location when running OI?

Is it possible to attach to data sub-directories

which are drive independent. For example, we wish

to set-up a system on a notebook then transfer it

to a network (ie it moves from drive c: to f:)

and have the system run immediately. It seems

that the Tools -] Database -] Save remembers the

drive the data is on.

1) This is a Windows class limitation. Use an edit box but size to one line deep.

2) Make the entry point an invisible window which checks the user name and launches a different visible window.

3) Utility("RUNWIN","COMMAND.COM XXX")

4) Edit your DBT to remove drives and just keep relative paths.
