GFE's on Quad Processor System (AREV Specific)

A client has just moved their AREV 3.12 application from a trusty stable single processor system to a HP LT6000R Quad Xeon 550 processor system with 1Gb RAM, SCSII RAID 5 HP Net Raid running NT4 SP6A.
They have the Revelation NT Service v1.5 installed.
Since the migration they have been getting phantom GFE's (no error found using VERIFYLH), whereas the previous system was error free.
Are there options in the NT Service for running on a multi processor box, or are there Windows NT settings that need to be tweaked to help AREV run in this configuration?
Any AREV multi-processor tips gratefully received.
Thanks,
Matthew Jones.

Are you certain that the NT service etc is properly installed? REVPARAM files present?
Was something changed adversely in the system configuration as a result of the move? eg. was a virus scanner implemented on the new hardware, and the *.OV files not excluded?

But a virus scanner would create actual GFEs and not phantoms, though, right?

We've seen some phantom GFEs with users of AVG.
Also, check the workstation settings for the network card protocols. A bad NIC or one with an interrupt conflict or burst configuration may also produce the phantom GFEs.
