I do like the flowing nature of reporter - the way it doesn't use space when fields are null, and moves fields around to accomodate wrapping fields.

This works great except with problematic clients that insist on using pre-printed stationary with designated sections etc. The only way I can see at present to handle this is to create mega calculated fields, or code the report myself.

My suggestion is (simply!) a flag whereby the position the fields are placed on the page (ie. according to the x,y inch values already shown) is the position that they print in. This would come into play also for accurate address window positions.
