A client site wants to change their environment. They want their users to log into a Terminal Server via RDP. From there a short-cut is mapped to another server where OI is located on a Windows 2003 Server. Here the Windows Network Services is located and running.

According to the client, the short-cut on the Terminal Server doesn't work, i.e, OI doesn't run. They can see the mapped drive. Do they need to install the Window Services on the Terminal Server as well?

It's a 3-users system. Why they can't leave things as they were I don't know , but I said that I would ask RTI.

Any comments welcome. Thanks,

Any messages? If none at all could be DEP on the TS box. We've just been rebitten with this on 2003 sp2.

So are you saying that we don't need the Window Services on the Terminal Service box? That is, it should work except for DEP. There are no messages.

I can have them try turning-off the DEP stuff.

Thanks Mr. Sprezz.

Well as there are no LH files on the TS box there's nothing for the service to do.
