Linear Hash 2.1 using TcpIp is slow (Networking Products)

Hi can anyone help?
I was currently using Name Pipes, Linear Hash 2.1, Windows 2000 Server.(AREV 3.12 and OI 7.2.1). We implemented TcpIp. With TcpIp Port set to 777 in Regedit and Revparam.
I have notice our Arev systems to be slower. (Generating Text files, Enquires screen, Transaction Processing etc)
It should be 10% faster than Name Pipes.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestion?
Thanks
Kind Regards
Geoffrey

Geoffrey,
There are other Arev/OI users who can attest to speed increases or decreases using TcpIp vs Named Pipes. But that does not mean I don't have some questions!
Is OI running slower as well?
What are your workstations running? XP, 2000?
Is it a multiple processor server?
Does the slow down occur all day, or only at certain points during the workday?
What are the contents of your revparam files?
Thanks,
Kevin

Geoffrey,
Well, nothing stands out about your setup. A few more things to try:
Test running with only one processor on the server and see if it speeds up the performance of Arev. Just for testing, mind you.
Run a mix of Named Pipes and TcpIp and see if that speeds up Arev.
Lets see how that goes…
