You have Group Format Errors (GFEs) in the file.

Run the verify again with the (X) option and page down. This should display a list of the bad groups. Print or write these down.

Make sure no one else is in AREV, and it would hurt to back up the file (you can copy the REVxxxxx.* to some temp directory).

At TCL type

DUMP (or DUMPLH depending on the version) filename

the press ctl-f to enter the fix mode. Enter in the group numbers from your listing above or a range or ALL.

Note: recovered data will be placed in DUMP.FIX.TEMP and/or DUMP.FIX.GARBAGE or SYSTEMP depending on which version of ARev you're using. These get cleared with each iteration of ctl-f so inspect them or copy the items in them to some other file on each iteration. In versions <2.03 the ALL fix option may not rename the DOS temp files it creates back to the appropriate REVxxxxx.* files. If this is the case, rename it manually.

See the documentation on DUMP etc.

It seem's that when I use verifylh from the menu (DBadnim\utilities\advanced\verify) it enters the default volume(location) name, in this case datavol. Then, no matter what table name I enter at the table prompt, when I run the verifylh process, I get the same error report, as posted above. Note that it states that the table name is datavol. When I generate a default report it reports the file name as datavol*revmedia. Is my revmedia table corrupted? If so, how do I fix it? Thanks in advance.

Try entering the specific file name and volume at TCL, for example
