I found a nice little freeware source / file compare tool. It does a nice job synchronizing the common lines and highlighting the difference in duo panes. Just save the two versions of code as a text file and away you go. The pro version allows you to compare binaries and edit within the display panes while the freeware version will spawn an external editor.

ExamDiff

Check it out.

I like this tool so much I wrote a short little r/basic program with a window that does all the copying of my two programs (or whatever) to dos text files, and then launches the examdiff. Sweet.

Thanks!

ExamDiff Pro is one of the best products I have used. I spent almost a month completely going through a system using this and without it it would have been possible but less easy ..
