I have installed the NLM on a 25 users site with all users having no problems but one. Specs as follows

AREV 3.111

NLM 1.10

Novel 3.12

Windows 4.00.950

DELL XPS200s

This is not the only Windows 95 pc. I have tried /p and no /P in DOS and with a Shortcut. I have 482k for largest executable. Without LHIPXTSR I can log into SYSPROG with upper left message of the TSR not being loaded, but with the LHIPXTSR I receive "Linear Hash IPX Driver - REVMEDIA Open Error:FS461 Unable to open boot media map". The MEM/C displays the TSR and I can remove it and loaded it again with no problems.

Dave,

Have you changed your frame type from auto to the one being used on your network (i.e. 802.2,802.3…)?

Are you using the Novell Client32? If so what version/release date?

HI,

I solved this problem, with the following configuration:

1. make SURE the mappings are correct for program and data!

2. use Novell Client 32

3. in the settings for IPX 32-bit Protocol for Novell Netware Client 32 properties,

     Advanced IPX tab:
set the primary logical board check mark off
set the Use only following frame types to (in my case 802.3) whatever you use as the primary frame type on the server. Make sure this is the only frame type loaded.

I found this to be the cure on any machine type running win-95.

(p.s. don't worry about binding ethernet_ii if you are using ms-ip, because it won't use this client to communicate)
