Windows XP Problems (OpenInsight 16-Bit Specific)

I am currently adding some new Windows XP sp2 clients to my network but when I try to access my Opensight Program the menu appears but when I try to select anything there is no response. It will not open the next form. It seems to be related to database access but I cannot find a problem. Does anyone know of any security settings or other issues which may cause this behavior. My Windows 98 clients are fine. I have other Windows XP clients but they where installed with service pack 1, they function properly. Even after being upgrading to sp2 they function properly.

What version of OpenInsight is this? We use XP2 on our standard machines.

Perhaps you need to run a client install on the new machines.

I have already run the client install. The system is on a novell server and I have the newest novell client.

David,
To rule out (or rule in) networking issues what happens if you run OpenInsight locally on these machines? Have you created any log files to see if they will provide any clues?

In addition are you running in Developer Mode or Runtime? If developer can you see if the engine is receiving requests?
