Documentation is a little skimpy on this issue. Where does one initate the "/x" parameter on the TSR component so the files close on the network when the user closes with CTRL - ALT - DEL in Windows 95?

You wouldn't need to do that. If the user closes AREV with ctrl-alt-del the server will close the files for them after 10 minutes. The /X is to reset the TSR if you need to (this does not control open files on the server, but the timing of the keepalive packet).
