Greetings!

I posted this to what I thought was the Network Products forum, but it did not show up. I probably am not using the forms correctly and so apologize.

Anyhow, I was wanting to ask about best practices for backing up an OI database, and in my case I am using the UD. I went to look up the version and when I attempted to open the Universal Driver Manager, I got an error message:

Unable to access Linear Hash files

Error = FS231

File = 1

I have a revparam file containing

ServerOnly=1

ServerName=192.168.7.208

TcpIpPort=777

The database is in 3 volumes in 3 OS sub-directories.

The revparam file is in each with the same data even though I read it is only required in one.

I suspect that is a holdover from previous versions.

I do not know what to do to fix this error.

Any guidance is appreciated.
