Hi Barry,
I did an interface to quickbook several years ago. I used their qbxml interface. Using the interface requires generating XML transactions and sending them to a quickbooks server. As I recall I they had examples of typical transactions. I used thos to make templates with placeholders like %CUSTIID%, %AMOUNT% and so forth, then wrote an mfs to look up the template associated with a file, swap placeholder for real value and send to the server. As I recall there was a qbxml ole object that I could use from OI. It's been long enough that they may have some other way to talk to the server, but I bet the xml int\terface is still a good fit. Read up on the qbxml interface in the current version of quickbooks, see if that does the trick.

Yes, there is still the qbxml interface, seemed too easy, thought there must be a gotcha <s>

Usual excellent presentations, some great guidance on use of ne BRW which helped in understanding of record filters can be used (both explicit and saved select lists) plus some awsome training on O4W implimentation (the API stuff etc) from Bryan and Bob. Apart from all the technical knowledge, I came away felling that OI is well positioned to work with Cloud / Web in its various manifestations.

That is the information that needs to be spread. Especially that cloud can be done, and, WHAT sets O4W apart from other Web based apps.
