I have many examples of black controls as a result of the conversion process. I can also include some video examples of weird display behaviour.

Hi, Chris. There are a number of free services that let you upload images for use on bulletin boards. I think the one that I used most recently is called postimages.org, but you can use whatever service you'd like and then put the image links here in your posting.

Hope that helps,

Hi Bryan,

This work fine using the postimage.org function (after signing up) for a .PNG type file. I would also like to include a short video (MP4) but postimage.org does not allow an MP4 type file.

Should I email you a short video clip of the strange behaviour on an edit table.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by compromising the secruity when using Dropbox or OneDrive?

Hi Don,

Sorry, I meant to say without compromising security. I assume with dropbox or onedrive I need to create a shared folder to be shared by everyone or can I just share it with works members only. Do you use dropbox or OneDrive to post images on the works forum.

Yes, I have used DropBox for years to post images. We have a corporate account, but that is not necessary to share an image link. We have a special folder specifically for forum post images for internal organizational purposes, but this has nothing to do with security. When you provide a link to a file (of any kind), you are not proviidng access to a shared folder.

Pro tip: when creating a Dropbox link, there will be a "dl=0" query param at the end of the URL. Change the 0 to 1. Otherwise, it will navigate the user to a Dropbox page.

Also, according to DropBox, you can replace the "DL=1" (or "DL=0") with "Raw=1" - it supposedly gives a better link to use in forum postings (without the DropBox title, etc.)

Thanks Don,

I will try using the raw=1 option next time when posting an image.

Did you have a look at the "Testing image Posting" animated gif. This is what is happening on some of the black infested controls. I have only included on 2 examples but I have many many more.

I think the black radio button is a result of the radio button overlapping a group box. When moving the control it displays correctly and moving back the problem reappears. This may be a bug in OI10.

Did you mean this for Bryan? I don't see any GIF images anywhere in this thread so perhaps you emailed them to him?

The only post I see from you with an image is not animated. It does display a black box where the radio buttons should be. Is this what you are referring to? If so, the date/time stamp of that post doesn't correspond with the date/time stamp you indicated (even when I take into consideration the timezone differences).

Thanks for the email follow-up. I didn't realize (nor did I ever see) the second thread that you created.
