We are moving from OI4.13 to OI7.01

In OI7.01:

In a few forms, we are doing a destroy/create, If we minimize these forms, the controls get move. For example, in one non-databound form (1page), after it has been minimized and restore, the form looks blank. However, if you move the scroll button on the mouse, the controls reappear.

In another form with tabs (4pages), the controls that were destroyed/create are put into the upper left corner of the form after minimized and restore. Scrolling does not fix this. Also, it take a long time to minimize this form (DataBound). It goes into a non-responding state, like it died, but it does finally minimizes.

Have destroy/create been changed in OI7.01? Do we need new parameters or something?

Just discover this. HELP! Comments, Suggestions are welcome

Thanks,

Ray Chan

To all AND RTI,

Figured out a work-around for this anomolie (sp). When doing a minimize on a form where we have controls that we create/destroy, the form got very distorted or controls get misplaced when minimized/restored.

On forms with multiple pages, if we do a Send_Event to another page other than page one during the create event and return to page 1, we can minimize and restore without any problem. Something must get reset by changing the Page in OI7.0x.

On forms with one page, we had to create a second page. Put one control on this page. In the Create Event, we did a Send_Event to the 2nd page, return to the first page, and disable the control on the second page. Again, after doing this, we can minimize/restore without abnormal behavior.

This looks like a bug in OI7.01. Is this a bug fixed in OI7.1?

Thanks,
