Okay, next question: how does one get the Edit Box to display rich text format? I've set the Rich Text check box and the read only check box, but the same rich text that display fine in the Rich Text OLE still shows up as dumb text in Edit Box. What else is required?

Wayne,

I got the RTF edit box to work (but there were limitations that prevented me from putting it to actual use). I seem to remember it wouldn't accept RTF encoding e.g. straight out of Word. On the other hand the necessary encoding was fairly simple. Search for my old postings.

The site has 250 of your old postings but non of them have the word "rich" or "richtext" in the subject. What would you have used?

Wayne,

Revelation has confirmed in their bug tracker that the RTF option does not exist in OI32. They recommended posting to this board for suggestions and workarounds (as you are now doing!).

Anyway, we ultimately resorted to using the OLE browser control to display rich text. We take the same RTF codes and embed it in a standard HTML body and it works well, at least for display purposes.

Wayne,

I was so angry with the thing it could have been various four letter words.

'RTF', I think. Rich Text Format.

I understand my late answer is now irrelevant.
