I have an app which uses both MAPI and VIM mail. On development and Test systems both mail methods work fine. When I moved it to (updated) a site system a call to the VIM mail sub-system fails with:

ENG0804; VIMGETMAILPACKAGE, line 1. Unable to load dynamic link library OI2NOTES.

Some clues:

The same error occurs with VIMGETDEFAULTSESSIONINFO.

Development and test systems use Lotus Notes, but mail is via ccMail (ie mail is successfully sent to/from ccMail on a system running Notes).

Live system runs ccMail but not Notes (this is where the problem occurs).

If development system is moved to a PC set up with ccMail but not Notes it also fails (I conclude therfore it is not likely to be an app problem but a PC / ccMail / Notes configuration problem, since the same OI system works on a Notes/ccMail PC).

NONOTES.BAT - no solution

USEVIM.BAT - no solution

try OI2NOTES.DL3 vs OI2NOTES.DL4 - no solution

include set path to ccmail directory - no solution

How can I get VIM to work on a non-Notes PC. Any suggestions please.
