I need some help. I have an editline that starts a window on the lostfocus event. However, when certain buttons on the form are clicked I don't want the lostfocus to trigger or if it does not start the window when it is a click event on the button that triggers it.

I thought that by putting a qualify_event to stop the lostfocus and then one to start the lostfocus after the processes associated with the button executed would do it. It seems that the lostfocus event processes before my qualify_event. Can someone suggest a way to do this or at least point me in the correct direction.

We generally get the FOCUS property in our LOSTFOCUS event code and see whether or not a button is being clicked. If so, then we skip over the normal LOSTFOCUS code.
