I am trying to setup AREV32/CTO to run from a different workstation to the one that I ran the OI 8.0 upgrade on. AREV32/CTO runs from the original workstation.

I couldn't find any network install routine in any of the OI folders so I registered the ocx's manually using regsvr32.exe. They registered fine,VSPRINT3-.OCX wouldn't register (I issues on vista with norton internet security running, had to register them in safe mode??? vista),except now I get the following error with I try to run revcmd.exe.

"Failed to load control 'RevCmdCtl' from revcmdctl.ocx. Your version of rvcmdctl.ocx may be outdated. …."

According to the file properties I am using version 2.0 of rvccmdctl.ocx

When I got the same error message on a standalone system, I was told to run AREV32_STANDALONE_FORM from within OI, because it puts things right with the OCX. This solved my particular problem (even though I had only a single-user system at the time and the form wouldn't actually load). IOW, after attempting to run the form, I no longer got the RevCmdCtl error.
