Use TCP/IP insted of IPX (OpenInsight)

Hi
Is it possible to use TCP/IP insted of IPX.
We are using OI 3.7.2 on a Novell 3.12 Server with NLM 1.5a. In the same LAN we have a NT 4.0 test server with NT-Service 1.0.

Bertil,
Run the NETDRV.EXE program in the OpenInsight directory and change your driver from "IPX/Netware Multi-User Driver" to the "All Networks Driver" and you will be using TCP/IP and able to communicate with the NT Service.
BTW, Your NT Service should be upgraded to 1.5

Note, however, that the NLM requires IPX. It won't work with TCP/IP.

Don,
I believe Bertil indicated that have NT 4.0 server and the NT Service running in a test environment. This is what Bertil wants to use TCP/IP for.

Don,
Read Bertil's a second time I am wondering if you had the right assumption. Bertil wants to maintain Novell and NT with TCP/IP only. In that case your answer is correct, the NLM requires IPX and you can't run the NT Service on Novell.

That was my take in the beginning but…who knows these days? Funny how we spend much too much time working on the infrastructure.
