So when is the login page on this web site going to get fixed?

I'm getting sick of typing my username and password in twice.

The password screen displays, you type in your username and usually for me, half way thought the password, unless you're really quick, the screen redisplays and you've got to do it all again.

The only other option is to wait a while till it does its 2 displays then enter in UN & PW.

Like most of us, yesterday isn't quick enough, so waiting is a pretty painful option.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest, my username will probably be revoked so I won't have this problem any more!!!!

We thought this had been addressed. We used to get it here as well and worked on it. It stopped happening to us after our last set of changes. We thought no one was still running into it after those changes were made.

We'll keep an eye on it.

Looks like I managed to get in again before my username got revoked.

If I login to revelation.com and go through the login/register option up the top it doesn't seem to have this problem, or its redisplaying that quick that I can't detect it.

I only seem to have the problem if I use a url to go straight to works or general discussion.

After the page displays it puts focus on the username and highlights it which means if you are still typing, it gets overwritten.

I'm using the same URL and occasionally get the problems.

The onLoad() script is setting focus and highlighting the username field, but this doesn't appear to be running until all images and assocated items (flash banner ads etc..) get loaded.

The Revelation Conference ad appears to be the worst offender. If the width and height attributes were set in the img tag, then this would enable your browser to render the page without having to wait for the image to download.

While your at it, I too am tired of logging on the the Support, then going to the Works Support page. Why cant I go straight to the Works page from the main Revelation page.

Surely it would be a lot simpler to control from the Rev end knowing that the left list of icons is static.

Also, how about a cookie or something so it knows I am me, and just let me in.

I always use the Login/Register link on the top because it will log me into all forums that I am supposed to have access to. Otherwise, your method requires me to login to each forum.
