We performed an upgrade to OI 7 and entered the sort path manually, only to find that it did not save.

It appears that using the 'browse' button and/or doing a database save is the proper way to enter the path?

You must click on the OK button in the env screen to save the setting if and then you do not need to save the database. This will be looked at for 8.0.1.
